Butterfly Fairies

Colour pencils, 2011.

Butterfly Fairies

My take on this reference - I transformed the butterfly bodies into little fairies. Their faces are about 1cm in diameter so it was a challenge, which I ended up overcoming by using graphite pencils for the really small details.
